The Masters: day 6. Vladimir Sinitsin’s prediction
I write my predictions in between games and the number of centuries shoots up constantly every evening. So there are 12 centuries in the tournament already after Neil Robertson’s win. My past predictions were successful not only because of my far-sightedness; but because the tournament proceeds with its logic. There was only one loss of a player with high ratings (Murphy). Yesterday evening we saw the next one and my prediction was incorrect. This doesn’t mean that I always bet on favourites. Some of my bets on the underdogs were successful.
What do we have on Friday? I’ll take bet bundle for Neil Robertson and John Higgins to win their matches. I surely believe in Higgins. Robertson is a favourite but his loss can also happen. I’m going for this bet because of nice odds – 2.80. Another bet is John Higgins to win with handicap -1.5 frames. His first match was excellent. Someone said, that Mark Selby was also good in his first game, but then he played not to his full potential. And it’s true. John Higgins is unlikely to level down his next game. I hope he will surely defeat Stuart Bingham.
I have little doubt in Neil Robertson’s win. The game will be tight and it’s unlikely to be three or more frames difference. So I suggest to bet on over 9.5 frames (6:4 or 6:5).
