Alize Cornet:

Alize Cornet was not among the clear favourites to win in Monastir. At the last tournament in Portoroz, she was not happy as she lost in the first round to Kaie Juvan (6-7, 3-6). In Tunisia, however, the world E37 is pleasingly pleased with her play and results.

All of her opponents on her way to the final, Cornet conquered with a clean 2-0. On a separate note, she had a stunning semi-final clash against Kudermetova (6-4, 6-3). Alize stood her ground under decent pressure and managed to score nine break points while breaking her serve four times herself.
