Gomes was reportedly linked with the move to Liverpool for the last two transfer windows.  After Erik ten Hag’s arrival, Manchester United were also among the teams interested in the player’s services.  Amid the clubs’ interest, Gomes has opened up on his future and claimed playing in the Champions League is his “biggest dream”.  He said, via ESPN Brazil: “Liverpool are a team I’d play for.
