Erik ten Hag reacts to Manchester United’s UEL draw against Sevilla
Manchester United secured their place in the 1/4 finals of the European competition after beating Real Betis in the Round of 16.
The draw for the quarter-final ties took place on Friday, March 17, 2023. United were drawn against Sevilla.
The Red Devils have previously faced La Liga side in European competitions, both times being eliminated by the opponents.
“Back to Sevilla and as you say a very good record we have to be aware of it,” Ten Hag said as he reacted to the draw result, via Manchester Evening News.
“It is going to be tough, they are very experienced in the Europa League, won it so many times so I don’t know the team in detail but for me the most important is football and I don’t look forward to Seville,” the manager added.
