Chelsea set to table improved offer for 21 years old Premier league midfielder.
Chelsea is said to be weighing up a renewed bid for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, According to the Daily Mail. The Blues are said to be looking to bolster their midfield options and have identified the Ecuadorian as a target.
Last week, Chelsea had a bid of around £55M for the 21-year-old rejected by Brighton, but the west London club is now said to be considering coming back into the market for the player.
Chelsea has already made a number of moves in the transfer window, including the additions of Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix, and Noni Madueke to strengthen the attack. Additionally, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos and David Datro Fofana have also been signed as part of a set of young additions for the future.
Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi recently stated that he could not guarantee that Caicedo would stay with the club this month, as the possibility of a move to Stamford Bridge looms.
The Ecuadorian international is a player that Graham Potter has plenty of experience with, having given him his debut in the Premier League last season.
It remains to be seen if Chelsea will make another move for the midfielder, but it seems that the club is keen on bringing him to west London this month.
